Administration: General InfoThe Center for Postsecondary Research (CPR) offers a variety of administrative options to meet client needs. Users may choose to conduct CSEQ and CSXQ surveys locally with a paper form, or have their students complete an electronic form via the Internet. Paper and electronic versions are identical in their content. Paper AdministrationIndividual institutions administer the paper survey locally on their own campus – relying on institution staff to distribute, collect, and ship survey forms back to CPR. They are also responsible for attaching additional questions if applicable. The CSEQ staff then compiles the data and generates an Institutional Report, including standard frequencies and means arrayed by gender. This report is sent to the institution with an electronic copy of their data set and supporting companion materials. Online/Self-ServiceCSEQ staff prepares the survey site, a user-friendly website containing the online survey. Staff members program a user’s additional questions into the form and provide response updates. Clients selecting this option are responsible for sending student invitation and reminder e-mails to their sample. After the data is collected, CSEQ generates an Institutional Report, including standard frequencies and means arrayed by gender. This report is sent to the institution with an electronic copy of their data set and supporting companion materials. Online/Full-Service AdministrationSimilar to Self-Service Administration, only CSEQ staff assumes the additional responsibility of e-mailing invitations and reminders to students. |
